Hook Wins “Internet’s Highest Honor”

Honors by Sara Moshier, Business Development Director

Webby Awards 2021

As an agency that loves helping good programs receive the attention they deserve, we are especially excited that our work with Google, YouTube, and Vital Voices was recently recognized as the “Best of the Internet” in the 25th Annual Webby Awards.

Spanning website and virtual experience categories, the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) selected five of our projects for a total of six Webby honors.

Our wins are especially meaningful this year because they come both from the Webby Award Academy of industry experts and the People’s Choice Awards, which are chosen by the voting public. More than 2.2 million votes were cast in this year’s Webby Awards, and we are thankful to all of you who voted for our work.

Winning work includes:

Living Portraits of Courage
Webby Winner in Virtual & Remote: Brand or Partner Experience

Each year, Vital Voices puts on an event to highlight global women’s rights issues and bring recognition to the extraordinary women working for change. In 2020, we partnered with Vital Voices and Google Lens to create a series of five augmented reality “lenslets,” which told the stories of how these incredible women fight for change.
