A Personalized Approach to Growth

Initiatives by Nahtyka Jolly, Marketing Manager

A culture of well-being

We’ve always believed that our team's creativity and innovation are directly linked to their overall well-being. That's why we created our Growth and Well-being stipend, an annual fund designed to empower our team members to prioritize their personal development and wellness throughout the year, on their own terms.

We initially launched the stipend in 2016 as an annual $200 “fitness reimbursement” to address a gap in wellness offerings. However, in 2021, we renamed the program and increased the funding to $1,000 annually to be more inclusive of areas beyond physical health, and to recognize the importance of emotional well-being and mental stimulation post-Covid.

The strength of this stipend lies in its flexibility—“well-being” can mean different things to different people, and we designed the program to reflect that, allowing our teams to use the fund in countless ways from personal purchases to HSA or HCFSA allocations.

Stipends in action

For some, well-being is all about physical fitness, and their stipends have fueled investments in gym memberships and home workout equipment, both indoor and outdoor.

Others spend their stipends on educational learning opportunities, like museum memberships, foreign language classes, workshops, books, continuing education courses, and pursuing new hobbies.

Building a resilient agency

This stipend isn't just a perk—it's a strategic investment in our team's future. When our team members feel their best, it shows in their innovation and creativity, making us a greater partner to our clients, and a stronger agency overall.
