We’re one of Ad Age’s Best Places to Work!

Honors by Sara Moshier, Business Development Director

What makes a workplace great?

For us, it’s without a doubt, our people.

It's thanks to them that we've been chosen as one of Ad Age's Best Places to Work in 2023. 🙌

We’re stoked to be recognized among the top 50 agencies in the country who—according to Ad Age Editor-in-Chief Dan Peres—have “proved the value of understanding what employees want today.”

So what made Hook stand out?

According to Ad Age, companies that made the list “outscored other workplaces in factors ranging from compensation and benefits to corporate culture and leadership.”

As we head into our 17th year as an agency, we’ve learned a lot about what our teams are looking for. And the truth is: Different people want different things out of work.

We try to address those unique needs and wants in order to build a workplace where everyone can feel seen, heard, valued and motivated to stay. For us, that means doing what feeds our souls work-wise, elevating our expertise while preserving our experience, and making time to give back.

Those who prioritize skill development are drawn to our monthly education initiatives, skill-centric clubs, and stretch opportunities. Those driven to make a positive impact in their communities lend their skills to pro-bono projects, participate in our JEDI group, and mentor underserved students through Sandbox, our creative mentorship program. Of course, everyone is looking for a generous compensation package and work-life balance, so the profit sharing, pay transparency, and flexible time off policies don’t hurt either.

Our vision of becoming everyone’s favorite agency feels one step closer with this award, so thanks to Ad Age for the awesome recognition, and to our people who are the best to work with.
