Tripadvisor is a global household name, yet most travelers only scratch the surface of what the platform can do. We partnered with their team to craft videos that move the brand beyond the "review engine" label and bring its full-service story to life.
Extending an existing in-house campaign, we developed a streamlined storytelling approach that bridged the gap between looking for reviews and booking a journey. We focused on traveler pain points to build a simple problem/solution framework. This helped us hone in on the insights that resonated most, allowing us to showcase what made Tripadvisor the ideal travel companion.
Our work honored the original creative while sharpening the narrative to make sure it truly landed with the target audience. Instead of developing new content from scratch, our visual strategy integrated user-generated content from the platform directly into the marketing materials, ensuring authentic representation throughout. We researched and sourced compelling locations—including hotels, restaurants, and things to do—pairing them with real reviews and photography. This commitment to leveraging genuine contributions from the Tripadvisor community of users ultimately delivered visuals that matched the feel of the site, fostered trust, and provided a distinct human touch.
