GAHHHTHESPACESHUTTLEISAMAZINGANDWONDERFUL! We could not have been more pumped when
Saatchi, LA invited us to participate in their Tundra Endeavour campaign.
To recap: Endeavour
was headed for retirement. The shuttle
was to be transported from LAX to the California Science Center via a scenic stroll
through Los Angeles. Part of its journey followed
a route across the Manchester Bridge over the 405 Freeway. NASA’s transport was too massive for the duty
so a stock Toyota Tundra was used to TOW THE SPACE SHUTTLE!
To follow the occasion, we developed the Tundra Endeavour
website, an HTML experience on a time-release launch schedule. 31 days before the event, the Tweet Drive
component was released that donated $50 for every tweet the campaign received. 60 days later, Toyota had generated over $400,000
for the California Science Center foundation.
After the event, the site was filled with content ranging
from feature videos to photo galleries.
A street view shuttle tour was created and a series of activity pages
for kids was implemented. Fun for the
The first and only dynamic Shuttle-Towing-Tundra Tweet Drive infographic ever made.Wow!
